DIY Vintage Blouse and Gray Jeggings

It was so cold today! I got my friend to bring his camera, so I have an outfit post today! He is also the one that took the pictures.

Long Sleeve Shirt: Cherokee (Don't remember)

Vintage Blouse: Joe Dale ($0.50)

Jeggings: Hollister ($12)

Shoes: Sears ($20)

Sunglasses: China (Don't remember)

The blouse I'm wearing is actually a short sleeve blouse that I layered on top of a long sleeve shirt. It wasn't originally a short sleeve blouse. It had sleeves that billowed like a pirate shirt. I cute off the sleeves of the shirt because they were too big and I hemmed the edges with the tack stitch. Tip of the day: You can always alter something and make it look nice even if it doesn't initially work!

Shanghai Expo

Today's random topic of the day is the Shanghai Expo! I went to the Shanghai Expo in the summer of 2010. Since my camera is still broken (because I so smartly dropped it), I'll show you some pictures that my dad took that summer!

Broken Camera!

So, my camera broke. The soonest I can get a different camera is on the 10th next  week. I'll still try to do outfits posts, taking pictures with either my tablet or a friend's camera. So I'm sorry if the pictures quantity or quality is lacking! For today's post it'll be a random photography post.

Some of the pictures are a bit blurred because I took them from inside a moving car.

There is a heart on the mountain! I actually had to climb up one of those mountains because there is a cemetery up there. Don't wear flip flops and a dress when climbing up a mountain!

Bird Shirt: Forever 21 (Thrifted for $0.50)

Jeans: YMI Jeans ($20: Free after gift cards)

Booties: Target ($25)

Sunglasses: Amazon ($3.75)

The shirt is a bit loose so I tucked it in. I also like to wear this shirt with high waisted shorts in the summer! I wore these booties to school today. The heels were loud so when it was quiet my shoes make an echo-y sound. Though I must say, they are pretty comfy for 3.5" heels.

Sorry about the setting, I was a bit busy and wasn't able to take pictures outside so I had to do it at home. definitely do not recommend Forever 21 jeans because they have a really weird smell that does not go away. I've washed it and sprayed it plenty of times and the smell is still there.

I love this blouse! I actually posted this is blouse in a haul. Tip of the day: If a loose top just doesn't look right, try tucking it in, it could make all the difference!
