Shopping with me: Thrift Store

Hello hello!
Make a quick stop at the thrift store near my house and decided to make a shopping with me series! Sometimes when I go shopping I'll take pictures of clothing and interesting items and share them with you. I didn't purchase anything today but I saw some nice things! Before we go shopping we need to dress ourselves!

Faux Leather Jacket: Sears ($20)
Blue Hoodie: Hollister ($10)
Jeggings: Hollister ($12)

Today I am wearing a faux leather jacket over a hoodie with jeggings. The jacket has some ruffles in the front and a little pouf at the shoulder that makes it a little girly. This is a look that I think looks just as good on girls as it does on guys. I've seen one of my male friends wearing something similar to this; good thing I wasn't wearing this at the time, that would have been awkward! This is a, should I say, "tougher" look but still has a feminine feel to it.

Now off to the store we go!
We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz, la la la-
And here we are!

My first stop is always the books in the back! Thrift stores can be a great place to find books to read for a cheap price. The books at this thrift store are priced at $0.39 for paperbacks and $0.79 for hardcovers. I've found the entire set of the Harry Potters series; so if you want your own copy for a cheap price than this is the place to be!

It's so cute! I have no idea what it is but it would be a great decor piece. You can easily store your jewelry in the hollow area or maybe even a candle holder.

Ralph by Ralph Lauren Blazer
Price: $5.99

Super nice blazer! Unfortunately it wasn't my size so it had to stay in the store. It would have looked nice with a basic black shirt and skinny jeans.

Beautiful sleeve detailing!

 Coach
Price: $10.99

Not sure if its real or not; I've never been good at telling if something is fake. Nonetheless it's a good basic brown purse that would match nearly everything!

Kenneth Cole Reaction Jacket
Price: $14.99

The jacket has a nice puffiness amount, not to thick and not too thin. Bright red color makes it so that you'll definitely be seen in the dark!

One aisle of many.

Luxe 360 by Mercer Street Studio
Price: $4.99

This sweater has potential! It can be worn loosely, with a belt, or under a jacket. A way I like to wear looser clothing without a belt is to wear it underneath a fitted jacket.

Solutions Casual Wear
Price: $4.99

A more interesting piece of clothing is this velvet button up shirt. Very nice, subtle pattern. It can be worn loosely or perhaps under a fitted jacket.

Jackets, jackets, jackets, and jackets.

Rawr!

Enjoy! Did you do any shopping of your own?

  2. I like that Luxe 360 sweater! I often get overwhelmed by thrift stores, but sometimes the good finds are worth it. :)

    Cheers!
